Village School’s 12th annual Exhibition took place on the evening of Wednesday, February 8th. It was the first in-person exhibition in two years—the last two were pre-recorded and streamed via Vimeo due to Covid rules and precautions.

The night is one of many special Village School traditions which places students at center stage. Students enrolled in Lauren’s Film Production and Writers Workshop electives spend the semester crafting original films and poetry in preparation for the event.

One of the directors, Tova, speaks about her experience presenting her film. “It was a little nerve-racking, but despite that it was fun. Everyone who was there was like a little community.” Writers Workshop students also presented their poems, and Math Art had a presentation of their work.

It was a little nerve-racking, but despite that it was fun. Everyone who was there was like a little community.
