On Sunday evening of March 13, the 27th annual Critics’ Choice Awards were held. This honors the achievements of people in film and television. This year’s hosts were Nicole Byer and Taye Diggs. The highlights of the evening were the extravagant outfits and the amazing winners.

Here are some of my favorite outfits of the evening.

Kristen Stewart

My favorite outfit of the evening was worn by Kristen Stewart. Her dress was simple and elegant. It was designed by Dolce & Gabbana.

Elle Fanning

My second favorite outfit was worn by Elle Fanning. Her beautiful gown was a custom designed piece by Oscar de la Renta. I thought that the shimmery gold fabric was beautifully unique.

Jasmine Savoy Brown

I also liked Jasmine Savoy Brown’s dress. I thought the color was pretty and I liked the fabric on the dress. It was designed by Prada.

A lot of notable people were honored with awards. Will Smith won best actor for his role in King Richard. Jessica Chastain won best actress for her role as Tammy in the movie The Eyes of Tammy Fae. Jane Campion won best director for the Power of the Dog.
