    What… Is it?

The polar plunge is a fundraiser to help raise money for the athletes of Special Olympics New York. Special Olympics New York has 65,665 athletes that are training and competing year-round in 22 Olympics-style sports. They make it possible for the athletes and their families or caregivers to participate free of charge. The cost to sponsor an athlete for a season is $400.

    Who… Can do it?

    Anyone!

    When… Is it?

    Saturday, March 19, 2016
    Check-in between 9:30 – 11:00 am
    PLUNGE at 11:30am

    Where… Is it?

    TOBAY Beach, Ocean Parkway

    How Can I help?

    1. You can help by either sponsoring our school team and/or joining it.
    2. Spread the word on Facebook and Twitter.
    3. Even if you don’t want to get in the water, come down to support your fellow classmates!

    Why Should I participate?

If the general idea of possibility getting hypothermia for an awesome cause doesn’t make you want to sign up, maybe some bribery is in order. Every plunger who raises $125 will receive an official “Polar Plunge” sweatshirt and raising more money can get you other prizes.

    Where Can I donate/sign up?

You can sign up and donate at this link.
