Recently, Village School travelled in two school busses to NYC for our annual “Pizza and Bridge” trip. A longtime tradition, this trip is a treasured one at Village. We gather together to walk The Brooklyn Bridge- both ways- and then sample margarita pies from Juliana’s and Grimaldi’s, two famous Brooklyn pizzarias.
Last year, it was a tie between both pizza joints, but this year, Grimaldi’s was the clear winner. Students and teachers discussed crust thickness, sauce to cheese ration, and sweetness of the sauce in making their decisions.
