As prom season approaches, seniors are gearing up for the big night, which means promposals are on the horizon.
Recently, junior Sami Speelman of Village was surprised by her boyfriend, Inshal, upon returning from her Florida vacation, with her mom in on the surprise, instructing Sami to head straight to her room upon arrival, setting the stage for her grand surprise.
Describing her partner as “very extra” and a “diva,” Sami reflects on the anticipation leading up to the promposal. “He wanted to come up with a good idea, and he wanted to go all out,” Sami shares.
“I drag everything upstairs, and I open my door, and flick on the lights, and I just see balloons all over my bed, giant silver balloons that spell out prom with a question mark,” Sami recalls the, moment. “Little portraits, little pictures of us attached to each letter.”
